Designing a virtual sales software for contractors
Overview
Groundwork is a company that offers virtual sales software to contractors with the goal of increasing their business and efficiency with clients. The founder reached out to me on LinkedIn for some help with their platform designs before their expected launch to prospective clients.

My Role
I was brought on as the sole UX Designer for Groundwork. They had previously worked with InnovateMap to design the base pages for their platform and then brought me on to help with finalizing these designs and making the designs interactive before they launched to their customers. I was given about a month to add in new designs and updates to current designs with a quick weekly turn around rate for changes. It was a fast-paced design job and was a fun experience to showcase my design skills outside of college projects.

My Additions
Along with changing minor details (wording, highlights, fonts, screen layout, checking for mistakes, add-ins, etc.) I also implemented what design changes my boss wanted along with offering my own design suggestions. In addition to this, I also made sure to match my designs to that of the previous deisgner and following the style guide.

For being my first design job outside of my internship and class projects I was thoroughly pleased with the work I was able to provide in such a short time frame. This opportunity really helped me to see what areas of UX design I am really good at and what areas I could improve upon. This was definitely a fun experience that allowed me to see a glimpse of what working in the "real world" will be like.
